Ellen Ip is a Senior Tax Manager at LevitZacks, bringing in over 20 years of experience in public accounting and tax advisory services. Throughout her career, Ellen has specialized in tax compliance, planning, research, and strategic advisory services for high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and estates. She has extensive experience preparing and reviewing complex federal and multi-state tax returns, mentoring staff, managing client relationships, and delivering practical, value-added solutions to help clients achieve their financial and business objectives.
Ellen’s diverse client portfolio spans industries such as agribusiness, food and beverage, manufacturing and distribution, real estate, professional services, and high-net-worth individuals with their related business entities. Prior to joining LevitZacks, she worked for both national and local CPA firms, gaining broad experience in tax compliance, consulting, staff development, and client relationship management.
Ellen holds a Master of Science in Taxation from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. Her educational background provides a strong foundation in tax law and economic principles, which she leverages to navigate the ever-evolving tax landscape. Through her professional journey, Ellen has developed practical problem-solving skills and the ability to build long-term, trusted client relationships.

Outside of work, Ellen enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, reading, and playing the piano. She loves exploring new restaurants and cuisines, and her favorite travel destination is Japan, where she appreciates the culture, food, history, and scenery. Ellen values discovering new places and learning from different perspectives and traditions through her travels.
