James Schappler

In his role at LevitZacks, James is responsible for helping drive the successful organic and inorganic growth of the firm. He serves on the Executive Leadership Team, overseeing operational functions such as marketing strategy, sales enablement, new firm integration, and the overall LevitZacks’ P&L. James is known for strong leadership, transparent people management style, and ability to effectively prioritize the most pressing issues first. He is passionate about creating a people-centric environment where LevitZacks employees understand their role in the long-term mission and feel energized to execute against the firm’s and their individual goals.

Prior to joining LevitZacks in 2024, James earned a degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Notre Dame. He began his career at Ernst & Young before spending a decade in leadership positions across various venture and private equity-backed startups, spanning industries like consumer goods, technology marketplaces, personal services, and healthcare.

Outside of work, James spends most of his free moments with his wife and young son. When time allows, he’ll sneak away to golf, go on a hike, or watch his beloved Boston Celtics win as much as possible.
