Yi Zhu, CPA

Yi Zhu is a Tax Manager at LevitZacks, bringing over a decade of experience in public accounting to the firm. She began her career in 2013 at Albin, Randall & Bennett, a prominent CPA firm in Maine. After relocating to San Diego in 2015, Yi joined Lipsey, Youngren, Means, Ogren & Sandberg, LLP, where she further developed her skills, earned her CPA license, and expanded her expertise in tax and accounting services. In 2020, she joined Duffy Kruspodin, LLP as a Tax Supervisor and was quickly promoted to Tax Manager.

Yi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Southern Maine. Her analytical foundation was strengthened during her time as a math tutor in college, a role that honed her problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Yi is dedicated to helping clients navigate complex accounting questions and providing sound tax advice. She is frequently recognized for her meticulous attention to detail and consistent, reliable service.

Outside of the office, Yi enjoys gardening and has cultivated an impressive collection of over 120 rose bushes in her backyard. She recently began growing a variety of fruit trees, including fig, blueberry, jujube, and persimmon. Yi also loves baking bread and cakes, and she enjoys perfecting her latte art on the weekends.

Yi joined LevitZacks as Tax Manager in January 2026.
