David Wilber

As an Audit Manager, David has nearly a decade of dedicated service in public accounting. Having honed his skills over nine years at a CPA firm in Albany, NY, where he most recently served as a supervisor, overseeing both audit and tax engagements. David’s journey began as an intern and progressed through roles as a Staff Accountant and Senior Accountant before assuming his supervisory responsibilities. Notably, David served for a number of years on his prior firm’s Non-Profit committee, demonstrating a commitment to community involvement and specialized expertise.

David earned a Bachelor and Master of Science in Accounting from Siena College, complemented by hands-on internships and experience at a local credit union during his undergraduate studies. This comprehensive education has equipped David with a solid understanding of accounting principles and a keen ability to apply them in practice.

David says that his relatives call accounting the “Family Business” and he is honored to carry on that tradition. David is known for his meticulous attention to detail, effective communication, and client-focused problem-solving approach. He excels in navigating complex technical compliance requirements and offering strategic guidance on financial statement disclosures.

David finds fulfillment in mentoring junior staff, reflecting a commitment to professional development and knowledge sharing. Outside of work, David also maintains an active lifestyle, enjoying road and trail running, hiking, and golfing. Traveling with his fiancé and cherishing time spent with their two cats round out David’s interests.
